Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing sanitation issue on Maple Street, where I reside. Over the past few weeks, I have observed a significant increase in uncollected garbage and overall street litter, which has been left unattended for days at a time.

This neglect is beginning to have a noticeable impact on the quality of life in our neighbourhood. Not only does it create an unpleasant sight and odour, but it also poses serious health risks. With the warmer weather approaching, the accumulation of waste has started attracting stray animals and insects, raising fears of potential infestations and diseases.

As a concerned resident, I strongly urge the council to take immediate steps to address this matter. Increasing the frequency of garbage collection and deploying mobile cleaning units during peak hours could go a long way in restoring cleanliness. Installing more public bins and awareness signs may also encourage people to dispose of waste more responsibly.

I trust the council will treat this issue with the seriousness it deserves. I look forward to your prompt action in restoring hygiene and cleanliness to our street.

Yours faithfully,

Amit Sharma
